Willia Noel Montague began her dance training at her family's dance studio in Baltimore Maryland. After attending the Baltimore School for the Arts for High School, at 17 she moved to New York City to pursue her dance career. At 18, her professional dance career began with The Philadelphia Dance Company affectionally known at Philadanco! Willia Noel toured the world with the dance company for seven years. Upon returning to New York, she briefly joined the first national tour of Twyla Tharp and Billy Joel's dance musical, Movin' Out before joining The Lion King tour and then Broadway where she was the dance captain for 10 years.
